My brother has a bad habit of borrowing my things without asking me first. He uses my shirts without bothering to see if I need to wear them, and then doesn’t even bother washing them when he’s done. He sometimes eats the food that I bring home and leaves none of it for me. He even takes some of my Soma pills when he’s having a really bad pain, and doesn’t tell me when he uses the last one. This happened recently, and I was having a bad headache, so when I went into my drawer to find a pill, all I saw was an empty box.
Of course, my brother was out of the house at the time, so I couldn’t yell at him. My frustration was building and making my headache feel even worse. I had to put in a fast order for some more pills from one of the online websites that I found. The pills would be at my house soon, but while I was waiting, I had to deal with the pain and try not to think about all of the things that my brother had borrowed. He’s lucky that he’s my brother or else I would really let him have it.
My brother got home as soon as the pills arrived, and I yelled at him to stop borrowing my thing without permission. He said he was sorry and volunteered to cook dinner for me tonight since I wasn’t feeling well. I told him that there wasn’t anything to cook and he would have to go to the store to buy some food. That’s when he told me that he would need to borrow a few dollars because he was short on cash at the moment. I guess he learned his lesson, to a certain degree.
